Taking into account the great mushroom growth of bands an singers of different styles that has been sparked off by the globalization, personally, I think that it is impossible to define one band as the greatest in 2010. I could name some ones that have caught on considerably. Examples are Train, Kings of Leon, Muse, or even ones of the excluded indie bands, as it is how Americans like to call to The Wombats (actually from Liverpool), Arcade Fire or Vetusta Morla (Spanish), or even more to their style and the way they have neen sold: independent to the commercialized music which main aim is to produce profits. Also, Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber or Taio Cruz belong to that group of musicians, Those who, in spite of have started last year, will have to assume that will be off the track soon, and will not have nothing to do with the great ones, such as Sting, Beatles, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, etc.

To me, the truth is that there are many singers who have won as the best of 2010, but by the type of music I listen I say that Rihanna and Eminem have been because they have recorded some new albums that have revolutionized all charts becoming number one. But somehow I agree with Borja because Justin Bieber has revolutionized the world of music and Lady Gaga as well. Other groups Borja says I can’t say anything because I don’t listen much, but I heard the Kings of Lion and The Wombats and are without doubt the best bands of 2010. In conclusion, I think this year has been among the best in the world of music, either Spanish or other countries as mentioned above.
When it comes to choosing just one above all, most of the people wouldn't be able to do it, specially with stuff like movies, music, favourite food... So, even though it's a hard task and limiting the search to Spanish ones, if I have to choose one band or singer, I guess I'd go for the rock classics, such as Marea or Extremoduro, with wonderful guitars, awesome drums and breathtaking lyrics. There are also other bands like Maldita Nerea or Despistaos (which by the way I really like in spite of the fact that they are not really my music genre) that are pretty famous among all kinds of people, and they do have nice lyrics and quite catchy melodies. But if I have to come to a conclusion, I dare to say that I´m not much into trends like Lady Gaga or Justin Bieber so I'd pretty much stick with the very first ones I said, not mattering what new bands are in fashion at the moment.
THE SINGER OF THE YEAR Under my point of vew the best singer of this year is Lady Gaga, the new Madonna. Since a girl called: Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta appeared in 2008 with her album ,The fame, she just has been succesfull. Her weird clothes, her original dances, and her unreal music have become her the best singer of the 2010, because all of them make her different from the others. But her talent didnt already appear she has been that perfect since she was born. She comes from New York and she had a lot of influence from Michael Jackson and Madonna. Singer, composer, dancer, pianist, .. Nothing is too much for this girl. Every single song that comes from her has been the number one on the music lists, radios, and sales. Her bigger exists had been telephone, poker face, and just dance... But they are not the last ones they are just the first ones, nothing will stop this music phenomenon, this is just the begining of her era. Choose the best singer or band in 2010, in my opinion, is very subjective. You have in Spain "Los 40 Principales", "Kiss FM", and other places that say to you who is the best but it depends the radio you hear or the channel you see. According to "Los 40 Principales" we should say that the best singer is Rihanna, Lady Gaga, David Guetta (best DJ), etc ... but in my opinion the best band in 2010 is Bon Jovi. I think Bon Jovi is the best band because it's my favourite band but also because last year they published "Greatest Hits II" showing new hits like "What do you got?" and remembering hits like "It's my life", "Bad Medicine", "Livin' on a prayer", "Born to be my baby" and others and their concert in Rock in Rio were incredible and because iy’s a band very successful since three decades. This is a very difficult choice, because there are a lot of signers or bands that this last year 2010 have publish a very good disk. In my opinion, the band of the year is Black Eyed Peas because of songs as "I Gotta Feeling", "Meet me Halfway", and in the last album "The Beginning" whit song as "The Time" and "Just Can´t Get Enough". And the signer of the year in my opinion,i agree with Maria is Lady Gaga becuase is the signer revelation since 2008 and her song "Just Dance", "Poker Face" and her most famous album "The Fame". In my opinion, there are two important singers in 2010:Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber. I don´t like them, but I agree that Justin Bieber is a new revolution in the music market. He is young and handsome(some girls think so, but i don´t). So he has the two most important things to appeal to teenagers. In case of Lady Gaga, I think she want to be different because she has an uncommon way of dressing and acting, and she is too eccentric. Well in my opinion, like people say, Lady Gaga is probably the new queen of pop. Besides all the awards that she has won and all the fans she has. The reason why I think lady gaga is one of the most important artists in the world, is that she is really different from the others singers.I mean, her songs, her clothes and even her personality are really different and caracteristic, that is the reason why I think she is that famous. Also some singers like Rihanna or Beyoncé are as famous as they were some years ago. Rihanna with her rebellious personality, with all the feelings that she can easily transmit in her songs and Beyoncé with her voice and her popularity are also one of the most important singers of the last 5 years. in my opinion, McFly is the best group of music in the world. Mayby could there are another groups good, but no so good than mcfly. McFly is a young group from United Kindom who play pop-rock music. They are 24 years old and play since 15. In UK they have a record, the youngest group being the number one in the list of music before the Beattles. They have a lot of covers from very good groups of the history, like "she loves you" from The Beattles and "my heart will go on" from Celine Dion.
