One of the best parts of our college is the preparation we get for our future career, despite costing us a great effort; give us good results in the very near future. The other good part of our colleague is the party, where we have mounted in spare time enjoying attractions and the festival during a weekend. But also what we like is the school´s dance!! Which we are expecting from the first day of class! However, having evening classes it's not so good. After lunch, the classes become so long and we don't have a very productive morning! MERY
The San Agustin school has a lot of of things and it is one of the best schools in Madrid,but it has some problems like: -Food: is so bad that even you can find "prize" in it. -The stairs: there are four floors and when you go up to the last one,you are without breath. One characteristic of our school is its strictness compared to public schools. All days we are living to a lot of rules: inflexible timetables, rules of conduct, dress code... The question is: Are necessary so many rules for the smooth running of our school? Our best atmosphere is indisputable. Most of the students and teachers respect each other. Bullying is a reality that we don't live in its worst aspect. But this situation is only because of the rules? Can't people behave well unless they get punished? I don't believe there is an absolute answer. I have found reasons for and against this strictness.
It is very easy to take good things about our school. Our school facilities are amazing, we have a great sports, a candy store, computer rooms, a huge schoolyard with goals and basketball courts and many more things. But what I think is the best of our school is how we prepare for the selectivity, the pass rate in selectivity of the school is high, it means that all we require is for something. Most teachers explain very well, is easy to understand, are very patient with our questions and are usually very friendly. The only bad thing that could make our school is that perhaps in some ways they require us too much and could require us to be a little softer.
I honestly feel that one of the best things of our school it´s the large space that we enjoy, you can relate on many people, and there is respect refering to what everyone says. Another point of view it´s the preparation we recive for our future in university. According to stadistics university our school shows a high level of preparation. On the other hand, as i´m student, i have to say that there are bad things too. Like the school food or the homework. But actually what it´s ready exhausting it´s the short free time we have. We have a lot of exams and proyects so in the end we don´t have time to spend on are own. In short, i´m very happy with my school, afterall is it don´t have so many requirements it wouldn´t be school. Carlos Jiménez Arribas
Our school is one of the biggest Madrid schools with about 2 thousands of students.
In the right hand, we could say that this school prepares us very well to “selectividad” exam. Also you can distinguish the variety of different activities and sports you can do specially when you’re younger it’s installations like the sports centre, computers room, laboratories and many new innovations like the bell at the end of class.
In the other hand, you can say that the food don’t seem of a school of this level and we have many hours during the week and days seems to be endless.
In my opinion what mas me pleases the school is that it is very big and has big sports facilities. You prop also I like that the education is very good and we are going to come to the university prepared well, but what I more like is that we can go out to the street in the playtime. What less I like is that there are very hard teachers and they are very demanding with the procedure.The schedules are not helpful and they should to change.
Some people think that our school is too strict. Well, there is no doubt that there are a lot of rules. But there is a reason why: we are teenagers! The other side said that is one of the best schools of Madrid and a good place to learn and be trained In my opinion, our school has more advantages than disadvantages. It is near my house (it only takes me 10 minutes to go walking), there are really good sports facilities (although the field is not grass) and we do not have class in the afternoon (except on Tuesday).
